About

Hello! I'm Pietro Sammarco. I'm a sound producer with an unusual variety of skills that give depth to the works of filmmakers, podcasters, musical groups, comedy groups, and visual artists.

My production process is set in motion by listening with curiosity and improvising with found materials and field recordings.

I also design workshops on listening and audio production and have mentored for a wide range of organizations.

My mentors in sound have included soundscape composers Barry Truax and Hildegard Westerkamp, film composer Dennis Burke, and producer Colin Stewart.
